You need to pay for their fails.

Hi. Received bented gasket due to bad packaging. Have to pay shipping for their fails. The shipping is three times higher the part price. Was it so hard to pack better at the start to make it problem free for me and seller?

First time doing business with them and…

First time doing business with them and it will positively be the last. Their fitment guides are a joke. I've ordered dozens of motorcycle parts from numerous retailers through the years and never had a problem with their fitment guides. Tried to order a trailer connector for my 2018 Honda Ridgeline and their guide said it would fit my stock socket. Didn't fit, not even close. They insisted I was the one that made a mistake. They made me pay return postage for a part that should NEVER have been listed as a fit for my vehicle! No way to call or email them directly, just a cumbersome process where you can't give them much detail. Terrible customer service model!

I'd leave a zero but am unable to. Head gaskets arrived bent and in water damaged box. Rock auto refused to return call or even hear about it, just wanted more money from money because it's my problem not theirs. Ordering from Summit Racing from now on. F*** ROCK AUTO PIECE OF S***
COMPANY. I needed those gaskets on a time table and they refuse to send replacements until they receive the damaged ones, would have been possible too if they had gotten here on the time table they provided not 3 days later. Thanks F*** heads. I Know now why you don't have a customer service number.

Paid for expedited delivery in 2 days

Do not trust ROCKAUTO and their chosen delivery process. Paid for expedited delivery in 2 days. Guaranteed to be delivered April 28, 2021 by 8pm est. Car that should have been done on April 29 still not repaired as of May 6th, due to ROCKAUTOS FAILURE. Parts are still not here and RockAuto wont recall package and refund money. They say its my responsibility to receive the late package and return it to them at MY COST!!! RockAuto customer service is a JOKE and almost impossible to get them to think logically!! I have all of the emails in PDF saved so I can post the failure of service to every rating site I can locate online!!

Not as bad as people say

Not as bad as people say everything worked out for the most part. I feel a little cheated that they didn't put some type of warning that I would have to pay for the return shipping of the core part before I bought it. Just keep that in mind. Most places if they want you to return something that's part of the agreed to price they usually pay for the shipping but not Rockauto so just keep that as a fair warning if you buy something requires a core return YOU WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR RETURN SHIPPING so the actual deposit price is somewhat misleading in my opinion if I have to pay for the return shipping. Had it not been for that or some type of obvious warning I would of rated them 4 to 5 stars but I don't like companies who don't make something like that clear because it factors in into whether its worth the purchase and the wait or not. Just comes off as shady in my opinion.

this company is a complete screw around

this company is a complete screw around,they had no problem taking my credit card for payment but failed to let me know that i had to send my old part in for a rebuild,i dont have the old part to send,it was missing from the car i bought,so now they will not refund my money and only want to give a credit...this company is just like the other reviews that i have read. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE AND THEY STEAL MONEY FROM YOU...I AM GOING TO GET MY CREDIT CARD COMPANY TO GIVE MY MONEY BACK...I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS COMPANY AGAIN.AND SO SHOULD ANYONE ELSE.

This place is a joke

This place is a joke. Ordered a part and it immediately declined and said to call my bank. Called my bank and bank said the transaction went through. Rock auto still says it’s declined. And of corse they don’t have a customer service phone number that actually leads to a human. Now I have to figure out how to cancel my order that apparently doesn’t exist that I have been charged for.

No Concern For Customer Satisfaction

Business consisting of self righteous thieves who will do anything and make any excuse possible to not have to give a refund and if a refund is unavoidable, they will still try whatever possible to minimize the amount to be refunded. I had a defective catalytic converter for which they wanted me to pay for the replacement "initially" (priced over $60 more than what I originally paid) and I'd be refunded once they'd received the defect and they'd deemed it "structurally sound" (which the part manufacturer confirmed was neither a requirement nor an assessment RockAuto was qualified to make), but no shipping costs would be refunded. Originally I paid less than $23 for shipping which now they claimed magically increased to $156 and was the best price they could offer but yet I looked into myself and was quoted $30-40 from three separate shipping companies. Ultimately I decided to deal with part manufacturer directly, who after only a brief inquiry shipped me a replacement at no cost to me as well as a return shipping label for the defect. If you are looking for a reliable company to purchase parts from and will honor the warranties they advertise then I'd advise you to look else where.

No customer appreciation, care, interest in providing good service

If you don't care about your customers enough to buy a phone and provide some kind of service you won't last long. Poor customer care, non-existent

Paying for their mistake.

I ordered a radiator, upper and lower hoses and serpentine belt for 2008 ram 1500. Only radiator was correct from what I ordered. Now I have to pay for shipping to get a refund for their screw up.

Never an issue

Been using Rockauto for about 2 years. Gotten everything from oil filters to bumper covers. Never had any problems. Even made my return easy when I ordered the wrong parts. Now my company gets all our truck parts from Rockauto as well. Highly recommend.
